ABOUT

This work is inspired by the high tide of the Rhine River and the question whether our world is becoming an augmented reality. The human condition is changing drastically. The climate is changing and extreme weather conditions are adding up. At the same time the border between the virtual and physical world is blurring. This development stimulated a fantasy: the retreat into digital spaces as an exit strategy in case of absolute climate catastrophe. The film was shown at 101PS Space, NEW NOW Festival and Waking Life.
