Commissioned by Resident Advisor, I photographed the architecture and artists of Open Ground in Wuppertal, a club widely recognised for its exceptional acoustic design. Its bunker-like architecture is defined by a meticulous attention to sound, from the placement of the Funktion-One sound system to the custom-built acoustic treatment throughout the space.

Artists including Mark Ernestus, Mala and Batu are part of the Open Ground community, attracting visitors from across Europe. The photographs were created for Resident Advisor's editorial coverage of the venue and have since appeared in further international publications.
